Hello all BbBrowning readers,
I would like to welcome you all to this post and back to BbBrowning. As you may have noticed, myself and Rebecca have not posted for a while and you tell from the title I will try to explain why.
So, since Rebecca's post with her amazing poem, 'The Coward of Charlegmagne' we have been through hell and back sitting Year 12 AS exams. Any A-level or GCSE student sitting exams and reading this will know the struggle and torment from it. This has affected the blog because we simply haven't had the energy to do anything other than revise and keep on top of day to day life. However, exams are over and we are now getting to grips with Year 13, which isn't a massive shock anymore in terms of getting used to the workload. Me and Rebecca can now make more of an effort in terms of book reviews and more poetry from Rebecca as she is succeeding more in her works of poetry and is receiving awards and recognition for it.
I am looking forward to getting back into my usual routine of reading for fun and not for trying to cram more history dates into my head. Furthermore, Year 13 English Literature will bring more reviews on the books we are reading just as we did with The Great Gatsby and Jane Eyre.
